To date, we have set up computer labs at Little Citizens Day-care Center, Pasadena Recovery Center, and Morning Star Baptist Church. We have trained over 150 adults.

We have awarded over 200 computers to students in the following schools:

• · McKinley Elementary School,

• · Willard Elementary School,

• · Elliot Middle School,

• · Washington Middle School,

• · Blair High School,

• · John Muir High School

• · Pasadena High School,

• · Rose City Continuation School, and

• · various community based organizations.

Through a grant from the Department of Justice, N.E.Y trained middle and high school students to refurbish donated computers for use in the homes of low-income families in the community.

Building Academic Success in Science & Technology

Robotics team members reported an increased motivation to do well in school. 60% of past members went on to college. The success of our Team 2404 FIRST involvement has led to the creation of new courses and/ or integration of robotics instruction into existing classes throughout the Pasadena Unified School District.
